A New Look, A New Day

Welcome to the new, somewhat casual site of Missing You Foundation.  It looks like a mess on my desk because…well…there’s a mess on my desk.

With any luck, and a bit of begging, you should begin seeing new writers, new content and new life in this site.  Sue Bess, our Board President will write and keep you abreast of the Michigan happenings, and upcoming events.

We can discuss cases. We can share information. We can do all the things that we want to accomplish, right here on the new MYF site.  And, maybe, just maybe we can keep the spammers away.

That’s the plan, Stan. :)

Family members of Kassidy I. Blond are looking to the community for help in locating 15-year-old Kassidy I. Blond.

Reported missing earlier this month, City of Coldwater Public Safety Director Brett Pehrson said on Friday he is still listed as a “runaway juvenile.”

jamie September 28, 2008 at 1:08 PM

Kassidy’s father, William Blond, described his son as 5’10″ tall, weighing about 170 pounds.
He is a student at Franklin High School, and was last seen by his father on Sept. 5. He was reported him missing on Sept. 7, Director Pehrson said.

We welcome your input, information, questions. We will also be welcoming additional pages from our sister sites of Missing You Foundation.

Please remember this is a non-profit professional business site that will be an advocate for victims and law enforcement. Please refer to our Mission Statement.

While all comments are important we will monitor this site to avoid being side-tracked to personal attacks. Basiclly you may say what ever you want we just ask that you be able to back it up. Anything that is not fact should be written as a question.

Sue Bess October 2, 2008 at 1:54 AM

Any new info on the Kassidy Blond? Any input is appreciated.

Remember tips should go to Director Pehrson at Coldwater Police. If you wish to call us or post information we will pass it on.

Remember if you have friends or know of anyone who is thinking of running away there is a place in Kalamazoo, MI called the Arc for those under 18 that assists young people going through stressful situations. Much better than running away and placing yourself in unknown harmful situations, sometimes worse than what you are trying to resolve.

jamie October 2, 2008 at 1:10 PM

local authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Kassidy’s whereabouts to call the Coldwater Police Department at (5… or Silent Observer at (517) 279-2000 there is nothing new so far on the case.i will keep everyone updated.

NC MYF October 3, 2008 at 3:01 PM

Good work on the site Shannon and Sue.
Would like to make a renewed request for prayer in regards to the Tristen “Buddy” Myers abduction. Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008 will mark the 8th year since Tristen’s abduction from his family residence in Roseboro, NC. Tristen was 4 yrs. old when he became missing and would now be 12 yrs. old. NC MYF will be with the Myers family to show continued support. NC MYF has continued searches and given support, since the onset, for this family and hope we will soon see Tristen reunited with his family.
NC MYF is also working with the Kelly Currin Morris missing person case. Kelly was last seen on Sept. 3, 2008 but reported missing on Sept. 4, 2008. She is missing from Stem, NC. Kelly is a 28 year old mother of 2 young girls.
Anyone wishing to comment on the two cases mentioned are welcome. NC MYF will make themselves available for answering questions and/or comments. We will post periodic updates on both cases.

I was trying to find a section on your site where I could contact you about links and promotion.
So I am not posting this here to advertise or spam.

I run a Crime Forum site and we have just added a Link Directory.
http://www.crimecasefiles.com/forum/links/index.php

At http://www.crimecasefiles.com/forum/ we want to help crime related Blogs/ sites.

I would love to be able to feature some of your articles on my site if possible, and I will add a link/trackback to your site.

We have just installed a Link Directory to our site and if you are interested we would be happy for you to Submit your link. It is quite a good feature on our forum and I am sure that it will be popular as it has many good features like a thumbshot image of your site and also a fully editable description/profile area.

So come and be one of the first to Submit your Site.

Thanks
Ryan

People continue in their own efforts to help in the search for Mary. Another independent tracking dog organization with volunteers recently completed searches of properties within Calhoun County. They are awaiting follow-up by law enforcement to verify their findings. We appreciate any assistance from people in the community to help in any way.
