Deborah Morris-Blond will face charges in Branch County Circuit Court of kidnaping, interfering with a custody order, after she allegedly hid her 15-year-old son in a closet in a Colon home in October.The mother had been ordered to turn the boy and a 12-year-old brother over to the custody of the father in a July 9 order from Branch County Circuit Court Judge Michael Cherry.Morris-Blond, 55, is also facing the same one-year-and-a-day felony charge in St. Joseph County Circuit Court. After she and friends raised $1,000 to pay the $10,000, 10 percent, bond in Centreville, she was released only to be arrested on the Branch County charge.Branch County District Court Judge David Coyle set the same bond in Branch County and scheduled a Dec. 18 preliminary hearing.
