Jose D. Benavidez Sr Lansing Jose D. Benavidez Sr., age 49 passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. He was born July 29, 1962 in Albion, Michigan to Jose M. “Joe” and Barbara (Deland) Benavidez. On October 24, 1998 in Lansing he married Pamela M. Gonzales who survives. He moved to Lansing 24 years ago from Denver. He has worked for HTA Company in Lansing for… 14 years. He was a member of Mt. Hope Church of Lansing, enjoyed golf, bowling, softball, playing WII, yard games. A special thank you to his boss Ted Harkins. Jose is survived by: wife- Pamela M. Benavidez of Lansing; sons- Benito Jose Solis of Lansing, Jose Davis Benavidez Jr. of Aurora, CO, Jesse Allen Benavidez of Lansing, Carlos J.D. Benavidez of Lansing; (7) grandsons; (3) granddaughters; Mother- Barbara Benavidez of Albion; sisters- Maria Hyliard of Portland, OR, Dora Sims of Jackson, Sara Benavidez of Whitmore Lake, Lora (Michael) Lopez of Albion; brothers- Iguasicao “Tony” (Linda) Benavidez of Lansing; Juan (Patricia) Benavidez of Aurora, CO He was preceded in death by his father Jose Benavidez June of 2011 and a brother Jose Benavidez Jr. Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, August 15, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 15 at 3:00 p.m.. at the funeral home with Chaplin Ken Ponds officiating.
